Remote file archive
How many of the files that is stored on your servers are currently active data, ie data that you or your colleagues use regularly?
The answer to this question will reveal how much historical data you have stored on your servers. Data that not nessesarily needs to be backed up every day.
In most companies up to 80 percent of the total amounts of data is historical and inactive data. Data that could be stored in an archive from where it could be retrieved only the day when the project resumes.
By archiving historical data you will free up space on your company's server and both backup and restore of the company's active data will be more efficient.
